MEDIA | FILM PRODUCER
My name is Luda, and I am a passionate producer and filmmaker. During my earlier years, I have been a professional ballroom dancer being in the top 40 dancers in Russia. While dancing is a great sport, it wasn't fulfilling enough so I have asked myself what I would like to do with my life and the answer to that was filmmaking. I have picked my specialisation as a documentary director since telling authentic stories in a compelling manner has appealed to me greatly.
Having graduated with honours from The Humanities Institute of Television and Radio Broadcasting (GITR), I have directed few documentaries that won awards and were showcased on several film festivals in Europe. Before moving to Australia, I have also attended the first specialised cinema course led by one of the most famous Russian directors, Nikita Mikhalkov, transformed into the Academy of Cinematographic and Theatre Arts.
In 2015, I made up my mind to be together with my beloved and moved to Australia. Since I moved to a new country, my husband was and still is my main supporter, critic, and motivator. Having started working as a freelance content producer and videographer, I have realised interesting projects about traveling and active lifestyle, different reviews, corporate promos, and videos/photos for charity events.
I believe that the best work attitude is to never stop learning and advancing my skills; that's why I have recently completed the Master of Producing course at the University of Melbourne (VCA Film and TV).
I believe that advanced knowledge, my beloved support, and my little son's love enable me to stay inspired for producing engaging projects.
